Europe Mission Trip 2010

In January 2010 I will lead a group of 30 people to Europe to minister to soldiers and their families stationed over seas. Some of the ministries we will provide include the following:

1. Worship at a Men's Conference in Switzerland
2. Marriage Conference in Germany
3. Kid's Church
4. Visiting a hospital with wounded soldiers
5. Performing an outreach concert for students
6. Donating sound equipment for ministry use in Germany
7. High School Assemblies
8. Daily Seminars
9. Marriage and PTSD Counseling

We are doing all of this without asking for a dime from the churches involved. It's our chance to give back to our soldiers and those who are on the frontlines providing ministries to our military communities.

Here's how you can help:

1.  Pray for our team.
Trips like these hold many opportunities for the enemy to try to disrupt God's work.  Pray for wisdom, strength and logistical clarity.

2.  Provide financial help:
This trip is estimated to cost $75,000.  I'm praying that with your help I can raise $6000 to help defray the costs. If each friend gives only $3 I will easily reach this goal!

Donate at least $25 to this trip and I will email you a link where you can download my last 7 CDs...that's 68 songs from The Strong Tower EP, Never The Same Again, Unconditional, The Silence, Your Biggest Fan, Send Down Fire & Where You Are.

     - A. CLICK HERE to donate directly from my site and receive the link to the downloads immediately
(please note that this option is not tax deductible)

     - B. You can give a tax deductible gift through First Baptist Church Orlando. Send a check to First Baptist Church, 3000 South John Young Ave. Orlando, FL 32805. (Write Europe 2010/Doug Pierce in the Memo)

-C.  You can also give a tax deductible gift through the Facebook Cause I've created:

             http://apps.facebook.com/causes/389385

3. Forward this link to others who may be interested in helping this ministry.

More about this ministry....

Since 2001 I have taken 14 groups to Europe to minister to soldiers and their families. At one concert in Baumholder, Germany the chaplain sat down with us to help us understand the type of ministry we were going to be a part of. I don't think it could be said any better.

And at the Men's Retreat in 2007 we interviewed some soldiers about the life of an average soldier stationed in Europe.
Meet the guys you'll be ministering to.
